Seira gets some hair, Part 1.

And now, for something completely different...

Since I don't have any commissions to do, I decided to do what I should have done a long time ago and reroot one of my own dolls. She's a Sega doll of Seira from Saint Tail. Damn, did she have some awful hair. Well, I really should have taken a picture of her with her old hair, but it's too late now, so here's her bald head.

I just started rerooting her. One side of her part is done, and I also took a lighter shade of brown and rooted plugs for highlights. Here's a picture for those who are

I'm planning on repainting her eyes blue when I'm done. Lauren suggested making her hair shoulder-length and curled at the ends like Nanako from Oniisama e.... I just wish I had a body for her!

I think that Sega head is ideal for customizing but it's a shame you have to buy a doll to get it!

And it drives me nuts that she has the wrong hair color, it is supposed to be hot pink not baby pink. Also I wanted it to have more body like-

I don't see why not. Hot pink hair is no problem. As for volume, of course it'll be a little more flat than in the anime(since that hair is kind of improbable ^_^) but I can definitely make her hair thicker than her original hair. My rooting service page is linked from my profile, if you'd like a look. I'm in the middle of a commission right now, but if you're interested I'll let you know when I'm done.

Heh heh heh...I know they make the dolls to be children's toys, but they don't even try to make the doll accurate, do they? Have you ever seen Azone's Creamy Mami doll? She has molded hair but she definitely looks like her! And she costs almost 15,000 yen... She's actually a little bit scary.

Hmm...how about the Jenny with the pink eyeshadow and flower earrings? She's the first doll in the first picture. If you don't have her anymore, I'll just take the Flora and count it toward half of your commission. ^_^

Is your e-mail address the same as the PayPal address listed on your site? Let me know and I'll e-mail my info there. I don't want to post my mailing address here. ^_^ And just mailing the head will be fine. It would be cheaper to ship!

Hello me again! I know you are probably really busy but I had another commission favor for you if you still take requests. This one will be much easier than the wp doll, I have a jenny head, (takara) so it is soft. I wanted to make a NANA doll with the hair parted on the side (no bangs) and a dull maroon hair color-

Sure, I can do that. ^_^ Is the Jenny an old Jenny or a new one?(since they have different-sized heads) There are several hair colors you can choose from as well--drop me a message at the e-mail address listed in my rerooting page(it's linked from my LJ profile) and we can work out the details.
