After having my ass handed to me 4 times fighting Kyouji in the (second)extra dungeon in Soul Hackers, I decided that maybe it would be easier on the second playthrough(read:I'm tired of leveling up) I'll leave that for Lauren...after all, I have to let something be fresh and new for her!

So I picked up my dusty copy of Tales of Symphonia for the PS2 and started playing. I won't put any spoilers in my first impressions, but I will tell you that I think Lloyd has a really annoying voice, but Kratos is even worse. I don't know what the casting director was thinking. He sounds like he's about 50. His voice has completely destroyed any hope of me liking him. And it's not like I can say, "Oh, well, I bet he'll sound better in the Japanese version," because hell, this IS the Japanese version!

Why? Why did they give him the same voice as Gendou Ikari?!

But the game's fun to play, even though the story seems pretty fluffy so far, and Genius sounds like Rockman, so it's okay. ^^;;;
