Mom and Dad got called in early this afternoon, but I flaked and didn't make my lemon buttercream frosted yellow cuppycakes. =_= Well, the sour cream expires in April... The recipe actually calls for chocolate ganache frosting, but they can't take my lemon buttercream from me! Also, I can't eat 12 cupcakes in one day...which is what I'd have to do if I used the chocolate ganache frosting, because it doesn't keep well.

In addition to thinking about making cupcakes and not actually doing it, I also played Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne. All day long. Hey, give me a break, it's the weekend!

I am way overleveled in this game. I spent so much time messing around with my demons that I forget to, you know, finish the game. But I forced myself to go on and I just finished Yoyogi Park. Now I'm supposed to save Hijiri after he got sucked into the terminal in Asakusa. Except I don't really care. Don't get me wrong, I think this is a really good game, but there is only one likeable character in the entire game! (And no, I don't mean Yuuko-sensei) I started off thinking Chiaki wasn't as bad as everybody said, but she proved me wrong(and will continue to prove me wrong). I really wanted to like Isamu, and I guess he's just an ordinary teenager who reacts to a bad situation the way any teenaged boy might, but I still want to punch his face in. (Also, I keep thinking his name is Yuu) Hijiri is sleazy and I never trusted him, he seemed like such a user from the beginning. And Yuuko is just like a blow-up doll.

From what I've seen on Japanese pages, I'm not the only person who thinks Futomimi is the only likeable character in the entire game. Even though he has a really stupid name. Though I felt kind of insulted when I first saw him, like the game programmers thought we needed extra bait to feel sympathy for the manekata, so they made their leader hot.

::laughs evilly:: Well, shame on me, I took their bait after all.

Oh, and another thing. I HATE Dante with a passion. I've never played any of the Devil May Cry games, but if he's this obnoxious and trite in Nocturne, I think I should stay away!

I haven't played it. ^^;;; I picked up the import version of Nocturne Maniacs a really long time ago because I heard Atlus was discontinuing it ::cue panic::, but I'm on video game buying restriction for a while. =_= I was planning on looking into the PS remakes of the older games, but I heard one of them has a fatal bug, so I'm afraid to try.

Jack Frost is cute. I also really like Mothman. Even though if you try to talk to him, he just gleefully announces that he's going to kill you. I was going to do a rank down fusion on one of the my demons to get one, because he's just that cute.
