I painted a new dolly last night, after Lauren finished with hers, and after I was in a brief respite from the HORRIBLE stomachache I'd had all day...did somebody poison me or something?

Her name is Kira, and she has a white-skinned mini A Volks body. I rooted her with red Noix de Rome hair. It was a risk to give her green eyes--I'm never happy with them, maybe because of our selection of green paint?

As you can see from their similar hairstyle, she and Miya are related. ^^ Heh.

It snew last night, and we all were out shoveling. It was a comfortable 12 degrees out(and that's Fahrenheit) and Lauren and I had one glove between the two of us. Not fun. I had to stop because my back started really hurting--looks like I found the one part of my strength training that I've been neglecting!

Eeek, you have my sympathies re: the shoveling. I hope you get the chance to take a hot shower or warm bath!

Kira is lovely! Green eyes can be hard to do well, but I think you did a great job. They really set off her hair nicely.

Thank you for the compliments on Kira! I think the problem I have with green is that the dark and medium green that I normally use are too different--the medium one(I think it's Light Permanent Green) is too bright and has too much of a yellow cast to it to make it look like the dark color is fading into the medium color... This time I stopped myself and just tinted the darker green to get the medium color.

I wonder if that made sense. ^^;;
