Well.

I coated Fuuka last night. One lungful of Mr. Super Clear made me start pining for Saffron again. And then my short term memory started to go.

I really have to be more careful...

I was looking over that Doll Market Shampoo pattern book and it says not to sell dresses using the patterns in the book. ^^; It's too bad, but I don't want to disrespect Kaori here. ^^ I guess we'll just have to use something else to sell, and use all those pattern ideas for OURSELVES!

Now, aren't you all sad you didn't buy it?

I got a whole big box of doujinshi today and it made me feel like crap. Sure, it's for Christmas, but I still feel like crap. But on the good side of things...I got some more rooting work. I think. I'm trying to learn not to count my chickens before they're hatched...I'm not going to assume I have work unless I have the payment for the hair and the dolls to root right in my hands. Otherwise, I'll fall into a deep depression again if things fall through. -_-

God, it sucks to be an out-of-work college graduate! But I made a promise to myself--if I'm still floundering at age 37, I'm gonna become a professional chef, like Julia Child did. ^_-

I get to do all the cool grunt work, like pressing and cutting and burning my fingers on pintucks and stuff. ^___^ But I'm sure we'll make a lot of MSD dresses. Doll Market Shampoo's book has a good basic pattern and tons of ideas, but unfortunately, selling stuff based on their pattern is apparently copyright enfringement, so we're gonna have to get creative. ^__^

We have a copier, but we can't use it until Christmas, so we can't do much until then! ^_^; All the Dolly Dolly patterns need to be enlarged.

I have the Shampoo book too but I dunno how to use the pattern since it's in japanese. The dress is sooo sweet! See if you can make a variation of some sort then?

I also have the Dolly Dolly book but haven't enlarged the patterns. How much does it have to be enlarged by to use?

All of the patterns in Dolly Dolly are at 50%, so I'm guessing you would have to enlarge them by...50%. ^___^

The Doll Market Shampoo pattern looks fairly easy--it has more kanji than My Favorite Doll Book, but luckily, they're kanji I can read. It's a pretty basic dress, so I'm sure there's something we can do with it. ^_^ One of the variations looks like that MSD Asami's dress.
