Overslept....

I didn't get up until noon today. I woke up early because I was hungry, and Mom and Dad were both looking at me like I was an alien just because I went into the kitchen to get something to eat, so I just grabbed the nearest thing, which was a stale as hell piece of rye bread. (I hate rye bread) It didn't work. But when I got back to my room Lauren couldn't sleep either, so we both stayed up for a while.

I named my new doll Rachel. She looks a bit weird to me now, but I suppose I'll get used to her--she has the Noix de Rome 01 head, which is similar to but not the same as the head used for Azone Sahra/Lycee/Maya. She has the new Noix de Rome dark blue hair. Heh heh heh...I named her Rachel because I had always wanted to do a doll of Rachel from Legend of Mana, but I couldn't get a mini body for her, and this doll does kind of look like her. ^_^

I'm still infuriated about the whole DOA thing, but since some people seem to really want to have the last word, I guess there's nothing more to say. I thought explaining the situation would console the person involved, but no dice. I only posted once, but it was like, one step forward and three steps back. When somebody really wants a fight, there isn't really much you can do. Reminds me of those days on a certain mailing list...

What a bunch of children, seriously.

It's very dark and gloomy today. I can't wait until Tuesday--Lauren and I will be the only ones here.

I didn't bother to post cuz I knew that I'd lose my head in my post and prolly piss off more people with what I had to say about those #$@#$%# slandering Minako!

In fact, I chatted with Minako last nite and asked if she knew about it. She reads ALL the posts in DOA and she thought the fight was rather,...humorous. Why? Because she said that the person who started the whole thing (I won't mention her name but we all know who she is) asked her for the refund and was kinda mad about it when Minako said she didn't give refunds. She said that this person was giving lame excuses to get a refund. Minako said she doesn't give refunds, period. I told her to post something on her site about her policies which she said she had been thinking about lately but now, she's going to do it.

Anyhow, it was EXTREMELY RUDE that the business transaction was mentioned, at all, in the group! I think some people did miss the point behind why the fight started. I found the initial post insulting and insinuating. I don't see how she could have thought she'd gain any sympathy after posting a message like that!

*sigh* Glad it's all over and Minako didn't get hurt by any of it!

She kind of put her foot in her mouth saying that Crescent Shop could've gotten her doll all along because Masamichi had a special relationship with the manager of the showroom. So that's all it was, after all? She just had second thoughts because Masamichi mysteriously got the doll she wanted and oops! she had ordered with Minako!

You know, I accidentally did the same thing--actually, I didn't even have a confirmation with Minako yet, so I placed an order for a Mini SD with Frank in a hurry so I wouldn't miss his deadline--and I never thought of cancelling on either. I figured that either one of the two would take a long enough time so that it wouldn't matter if I wound up with two. ^^ Never occurred to me to cancel on either--if I want to jump the gun and do something silly, why should any but me have to pay?

And I've been waiting for a year and a half for an opportunity to buy Myu! I don't feel any sympathy at all for somebody who whines over a month or two--it's not that long! Isn't the wait for a Unoss close to a year?(back when they still offered them)
