Weird dream.
Jul. 16th, 2003 06:52 pmI had a very weird dream last night.
I was back in college, and moving into a new dorm room, and for some reason it was inside another room that wasn't occupied--there was a rope ladder in the ceiling that led into a little attic crawl space that was so narrow that I could barely fit through it, but once I squeezed out of it the room was pretty nice. There was a priceless piece of jewelry(I think it was a ring)in a glass case in front of the window, and for some reason, the school said it belonged to me. Most of the time I just hung out in the lower room, not wanting to squeeze through that tiny passage again, and hoping that the school wouldn't catch on to me and force me to stay in the attic room all the time. But a couple of times, I went up into the attic room, and Alan Rickman was climbing up the side of the building, trying to break in and steal my ring! He was wearing his Sheriff of Nottingham outfit. The second time I saw him coming through the window, I pushed him and he fell and smashed on the ground and died.
And I thought to myself, "Man, I just killed Alan Rickman!"
And then there was a stupid sequence where my cousin got mad at me because I wouldn't lend her the 5th Harry Potter book. I don't like lending people stuff because I love all my stuff and I'm afraid of not getting it back. I told her that Lauren likes to read it several times a day, so she wasn't done with it. And she told me Lupin was her favorite character, so I said, "Then you'll like it," but I still wasn't lending her the book!
In real life, I doubt my cousin would even ask to borrow one of my books. She doesn't even live in the state! ^^;;;;
Well, it was just a dream, but I wonder if I'm a bad person because I don't like lending people stuff. I don't mind giving things to people, but letting them borrow something of mine? I'd be a wreck until I got it back.
