...that I could go outside and not be attacked by angry yellow jackets. I've been stung twice in the past two months... My last sting was less than 48 hours ago. It's not like I was trying to antagonize them...I just bumped into them.
The sting on my right calf is feeling better today. It's still kind of swollen but I doubt it's infected. After all, wouldn't it be getting worse and not better? The swollen area is about five inches across. I can't tell but it's possible I got stung twice by the same yellow jacket. There's another spot that looks kind of like a sting about an inch and a half below the first one, but it didn't bleed like the other one. I was just looking at my pepper plant, minding my own business... The one that got me last month stung me on the left forearm just as I was coming in from outside.
Am I ever gonna be able to go outside again? I've been stung six times in almost 20 years. First was some kind of black wasp, and all the others were yellow jackets. I'm afraid I'm going to build up an allergy. I guess I'll have to wear a snowsuit or something...
