Lalaloopsys come straight from hell. They keep making you want to get more and more.

Lucas was barely interested in Lady Stillwaiting. I had to turn the flash off in order to include him in the picture, so it's a bit blurry.

I wound up putting my two Buck roses in bigger pots. I'll keep them in the foyer at night if we're supposed to get a freeze anytime within the next several weeks. Eventually, the temperature in there will drop into the low 40s...probably better to keep the pesties away! I guess it'll be fine...after all, I overwintered a Zone 6-9 rose in there last year and it looks good now.

I understand the Griffith Buck roses are pretty sturdy in general, so they ought to be fine!

Apparently, the Chamblee's online order form keeps messing up people's shipping dates. The customer service rep I got said they would reship on the appropriate date, but I told her that it was all right and not to bother.

Prairie Harvest is supposed to be pretty tough. Silver Shadows not so much, but I was so intrigued by the color... I'm not really worried about cold damage, but insect damage from keeping the plants inside. Then again, Sunny Cordana got spider mite before I brought it in, not after...

You could spray the leaves with a mild soap solution every week or so to keep down the spider mites until it goes dormant enough to lose them.
