The Maya Report.

It's not much of a report, sorry! I don't have any pictures(though I may take a before picture when I do her reroot). Just the same, I thought I'd report on the condition of Maya. Her hair is the same blond color used for Sahra. Her head: big and really hard. ^^;;; Neither of the dolls had uneven hair, but it is a bit long. Her eyes are really yellow. ^__^ I held up a bunch of hair colors to her, and she's a blessed doll--almost all of them look good. For myself, I decided on a blend of Honey Blonde and Cotton Candy. I'll probably stick with the Titian/Copper Titian blend for the one I'm planning on selling.

Unlike Nina, her eyes aren't sticky at all. Her face is really cute. She looks bad in her box, though--her hair is all squished in her face.

Wah~ you are making me really anxious for my Maya, whenever she arrives (hopefully they will send her this week at least...and send the payment request for my Nina)! I am glad she is so cute and that the hair isn't too bad other than the length (which I can live with), since I can't reroot mine.

Hobby Search just reopened today--they must be really backlogged with orders. My sister still hasn't gotten a shipping notice for her Maya, either.

They probably rushed my order out because 1)I paid within minutes of the invoice being sent and 2)there were multiple items in the box, so maybe they wanted to move it out quickly? Mine was sent out on the 29th, so they must have gotten it out the day they closed.

Yeah, well hopefully they get to it soon, they did say on their holiday notice that preorders are their priority so I hope at least they get to it soon although I want Nina too ^^;;
