tsubasahome...so I'm planning on turning an original Sera into a redhead. For my own personal pleasure.
I just finished rerooting Lauren's Romantic Girly III Chiika. I used Noir from Restoredoll, which is their newer shade of black. It's slightly heavier and shinier than their original black hair, CM Midnight. It's very pretty but it weighs more than CM Midnight, and since the hair is packed by weight, I came very close to running out of hair. It didn't help that I was doing a hairstyle that uses up more hair than a regular old middle-part with bangs. -_-
I like Noir. I would use it for straight hair because it catches the light better than CM Midnight, but CM Midnight is probably better suited for curly hair because it's finer and less plasticky. I can't put my finger on what color hair Noir resembles in texture. It's not dry like Pinky Pinky or Purple Haze. It almost feels more like Noix de Rome hair, which at first glance is identical to Restoredoll hair, but has a slightly coarser texture. Noir is also sold at Noix de Rome, as "black hair with shine".
I have two more commissions lined up, then virtually nothing to do. ^^;;;
I had a dream last night that a deer ate all my raspberry plants. That's probably the most coherent dream I've had in weeks.
