I haven't typed in here for a while because I was afraid of jinxing the eBay auctions I bid on this week.
I know it's weird. I usually don't bid on eBay, but for some reason, I just got it in my head that I HAD to get a copy of Rockman 3 for the Japanese Playstation, and then I realized that the seller was selling all of the Rockman Playstation remakes, and I really wanted 2 as well, and finally I decided to try for 5...I mean, I had to get at least one of them, right? They were pretty long auctions and when it started getting down to the wire I gave up on my plan to just bid casually and started taking it really personal. -_- So I bid ridiculously high, considering that the games were originally 2,800 yen...and I lost ALL of them.
Man, and I had gotten it into my head that I'd die if I didn't get one of those games! I don't even know where my Nintendo is!
But ha ha ha ha ha ha ha...in the end, I wound up winning all of them in different auctions...and the person who outbid me the first time around had to pay so much more for them! n_n
I guess I shouldn't talk about it too much--it's not like I have the games in my hands right now. Damn, I'm stupid. I was supposed to be saving money?!
Anyway, I crocheted a little afghan to go with the mini SD pajamas that Lauren has on eBay. Eh heh heh...I originally tried to resize a ripple stitch pattern for it, but it threw off the proportions of the afghan, so I wound up using the giant Q-hook and working the green and blue yarn together, like I did with the purple afghan Lauren has as a backdrop in some of her pictures. ^^; It's unorthodox, but it's fluffy. The only problem I have with that Q hook is that it uses up a ton of yarn!
