Doll hair and other things.

I got my most recent order from Restoredoll in the mail yesterday--it had one order of hair for a commission, and another for...selfish reasons. ^^;;;

It turns out that Tickled Pink is a little darker than I anticipated. I had assumed it was the light "milky pink" color that I've ordered from Noix de Rome before, but in reality, it's the same color as the pink hair used on the pink-haired Azone dolls. Interesting. Also, Megan is a blend now? The site refers to it as a blend, but I could have sworn that it used to be a solid light yellow color. It almost looks like a blend of Lemon Blond and Champagne Dark. I was a bit disappointed that it wasn't the color I thought it was, but I'll get over it. It's too close to Himeno's original hair color for my tastes, but I'm sure it will still look pretty in the end.

I also ordered a blend of Sapphire Blue and Looking Glass Blue for Lauren's doll. Looking Glass Blue is a very dark blue, almost black. It's a bit dull in color to be used by itself but the mesh is lovely and tones down the brightness of the Sapphire Blue.
