Bloody hot...

It's still over 100 degrees. The AC is only kind of working. Can't wait for the weekend...

I finished my last commissioned head last night--I only have to wash and set the hair. It's been tough to get it done because of the holiday and the fact that my brother's been here and holed up in our finished basement, which is where I do my rooting. I had a tentative job lined up afterward, but I'm not sure how it's going to go now. I have my own Miu to reroot, so I guess I'll just get that done and try not to think about work for now.

I was all ready to try rerooting an Ex-Cute doll to sell, but unfortunately, it's financially implausible. I just can't afford the materials. I really wish I could...there are a lot of things I'd like to try. But the loss of money if it doesn't sell would hurt me too much. I'd only be able to do it if the doll sold immediately. Even then, it would be a risk. Maybe some other time...

Speaking of which, I really think I'm going to reroot my own Romantic Girly III Chiika. I have the standard one, and even though I don't mind her with blond hair, they just did such a bad job rooting her that I haven't been able to enjoy her. I have two skeins of Restoredoll Hazelnut that I may use on her. Unfortunately, with the style I have planned(same as Chocoholic Nightmare Aika)two skeins is not enough. I would need three. I can't afford any more hair! ::screams:: I used the money from my last commission to get Miu's hair, now I'm screwed. :D
