Ooooeeeee...

Staring at a computer monitor with contacts that are the wrong prescription makes my eyes sting... ;_;

I haven't worked on my story in a while, and I have to get my act together soon. Having a long range computer model pointing a major hurricane at you is a little distracting. ^^;;; And once again, miraculously spared. I love the way these private weather outlets(who shall remain unnamed) try to get people watching/subscribing by posting a big picture of a long range model showing a Cat 5 hitting Long Island in 14 days on their main page...just because "it's interesting to look at", even though there isn't a snowball's chance in hell of a model forecast 14 days out verifying right down to the landfall location. Of course, that part is in the fine print.

And THAT is why I only use the NWS for weather forecasts.

I've been reading Lauren's copy of George MacDonald's The Complete Fairy Tales. I thought I needed something a little lighter after reading two books in a row about people committing murder and dying in prison/being executed. Now, if I could just pick up that pen...!
