My Cat is Crazy.

Since I'm aggravated with life right now, I thought I'd take some time out to talk about some of the crazy stuff Lucas does. He has this new trick where he'll come into my room and squeak really loud, then jump on my bed and knock something off(like a flashlight). When I go to pick it up, he does a long jump from the bed onto the computer chair, stealing my seat. Then he rolls around, purring and looking smug.

He also likes being carried around in a paper grocery bag. He'll jump in the bag and make huffy sounds until somebody picks it up. We all take turns carrying the bag around the house and passing it back and forth, with him purring all the while. He loves it. He even started grooming himself while inside the bag once. He weighs about 14 lbs, so maybe it's more comfortable to be carried around in a bag for him? He's not fat at all..he's just really loooong. Like Longcat.

I wish I could make a video of him or something. He's such a freak. If you stare at him too long he'll jump on your face. If you're sitting in the living room, watching TV or making out bills, not paying any attention to him, he'll jump on you and either mock-bite you, smell you really hard or lick you. Once I was sitting on the living room floor, talking with Lauren and my mother, minding my own business, and Lucas came running out of nowhere, jumped on my legs, did a big Halloween Kitty pose, and ran away, making googly sounds.

He makes really strange sounds. Every couple of weeks he'll come up with a new one. I feel bad because if somebody asked me if Lucas was friendly or affectionate, I wouldn't know what to say. He's friendly and affectionate with me and Lauren, and with my mother. With strangers, he'll either walk circles around them with his eyes all buggy, or start rolling all over the floor. And then he'll attack their shoes.
