I listed a Persona/Soul Hackers doujinshi on eBay. I got it right before I got all those Soul Hackers doujinshi, so I feel like I'm a little more picky now...it's mostly Persona, so I'm less inclined to hold on to it.

I'm on Discovery 8 in Kowloon Youma Gakuenki and I keep losing to Takeminakata. I'm going to have to kick Minakami out again--he takes up my extra Buddy slot with his stupid evade skill that hardly ever works, even though he's at level 7. Plus, as far as characters go, he's really not my type(although this alienates me from 90% of the game's fans...) If I had kept Asuka with me, I would have won on the first try, I'm sure...

Since Kowloon Youma Gakuenki is a spinoff of Tokyo Majin Gakuen, I've been looking up stuff on that game, but from what I hear, the anime is really, really unfaithful, and a lot of the Japanese fans are offended by the ultraviolence in the anime(though they stop short at saying the anime is bad). I'm not sure how it is in the game version of Tokyo Majin Gakuen, because Kowloon Youma Gakuenki isn't really that violent. I mean, there's violence, but it's all bloodless violence, and the game is very campy. It's about as dark as Soul Hackers. It does have a 15+ rating in Japan(even though Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne doesn't), but it's for "sexual situations" ::laughs:: I looked at some Tokyo Majin Gakuen fan art sites, and wow, the characters really look nothing like the way they do in the anime, do they? I know it's an old game, and maybe they thought the designs were too plain, but if they plan on doing a Kowloon Youma Gakuenki anime(which I'm sure they're not), they won't get away with it. The game came out in 2004! Then again, I can't see how they would do an anime based on Kowloon Youma Gakuenki without fear of lawsuits, considering all the "homages" to various movies. They even have you taking quests from thinly disguised Mulder and Scully, and the preliminary sketch for one of your other "clients" is George W. Bush...And then there's the whole Indiana Jones ripoff that permeates the entire game. ^^;;;;
