Jury's still out...

Mom and Dad(well, Mom in particular) seem pretty intent on ruining Christmas this year. First they squabble like children, and then Mom decides she's going to nap on the couch all day watching Lifetime...(sighs) The ceiling's leaking again from the rain, so I predict another fight in about 10 minutes. I'm making a roast but Mom got the wrong cut of meat(even though I told her that if she couldn't find a top loin, we'd make something else) and I wound up having to maul it to get the silver skin off, and toothpick it back together... Mom's crabby and bitching and I'm just trying to make the best of it. Kind of hard, though.

Maybe it'll all look different after we eat...
