Posting some peonies.

I went to http://www.helpmefind.com and set up an account so I could upload information/pictures of my peonies, and I'm a bit self-conscious about the fact that I'm the only person posting any kind of information there. ^^;;;; None of the peonies have any ratings or comments, and there aren't very many pictures either...such a big difference from their rose database! Is this going to wind up being a one-woman project?

I'd be happy if my information is helpful, but I'm wondering if anybody will even read those entries. I feel kind of like the lone person posting to a message board. ^^;;;

True, I just feel a little self-conscious being the first person to rate a peony and seeing the rating drop way down because of something I wrote. ^^;;;; I know there's a lot less variability between peonies than with roses, since they all bloom at basically the same time and with the same frequency, and get the same diseases...and what peony doesn't need to be staked? (Other than Bowl of Beauty, of course)

Well, it does help to know which peonies do better in different regions and soils, and which are more prolific growers or bloomers, which are true to color no matter what, and which look awful but the catalogs never tell you... For exampled, the rose people talk about how the same variety can look like a different plant completely colorwise, in different climates, developing colors in different temperatures.
