Luckily, at this point, the hurricane's a little weaker than they expected...they're saying it'll be a strong tropical storm or a weak Category 1 hurricane. We aren't in a storm surge zone, and I know the house can withstand winds that strong...Gloria wasn't much different. If it's only as bad as Gloria, it'll be okay...too bad Gloria was so long ago that I don't really remember how scary it was!
It's been 26 years since a hurricane made landfall here. I knew it was a matter of time...I just hoped it wasn't so soon...
