Don't buy vegetable peelers at Ikea.



Don't worry, I'm not the kind of person to take pictures of my injuries or other gross things, not even to put behind a cut. I have a weak stomach, and I feel for my brethren.

Anyway, those Ikea vegetable peelers don't peel worth a damn. I was trying to get a nice piece of orange rind to spice up my decaf tea and the stupid peeler wouldn't budge. I had to apply so much force that it slipped and sliced my left index fingertip, right through the nail. There was much pain and much blood. I guess I won't be finishing Aika anytime soon.

I've cut myself like that before with a vegetable peeler. I was angrily peeling potatoes, applying too much pressure to the peeler because I was pissed off at someone (I'm sure you can speculate as to whom) and my hand slipped. I ended up gashing my left index finger right through the nail. Blood began to flow!

I'm sure that once the blood washes away it'll look better. You're going to have to take it easy with rooting for a few days, though. I can pinch-hit with the Aika if you trust me enough. XD
