I only dimly remember the original GI Joe cartoon (although I have clear memories of the Very Special Episode where GI Joe and Cobra team up to fight drugs) but I did, for some reason, develop a fixation on Dusty. All I remember is that he was sweet and a nice boy, and I was somewhat upset when the later GI Joe reboots simplified his character into "he likes being dirty and gets upset when he is clean".
